Archbishop Murphy’s Pat Jack was named the Class 2A state girls soccer coach of the year for 2006 by a statewide panel of sportswriters.

Wildcat junior Aleigh Mansfield earned first-team defender recognition. Senior Andrea Gaitan and sophomore Melissa von der Hofen were second-team forwards and freshman Lindsey Bos was a first-team midfielder.

Archbishop Murphy senior Allie Gotz was a first-team libero selection in volleyball.
