Elizabeth Miller of Everett earned a top-five finish at the 2006 Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City on Oct. 14.

Miller, a freshman at Jackson High School, rode Tu-Kan’s Apple Blossom to a fifth-place finish out of 20 riders from around the country in the World Champion Hunter Pleasure Junior Exhibitor 13-and-under category.

Miller has been riding for just two years, working with trainer Catherine Cloud of Sea Cloud Morgans in Arlington.
