The drama in Shoreline is worthy of a MTV reality show. Between the Shoreline School District’s fight between the teachers’ union and the board/superintendent and the Shoreline City Council’s infighting and ridiculous lawsuit, I’m convinced that everybody involved needs to be ousted. Let’s get some new people in to start over. The tension in this community has gone on for far too long. After being born and raised here by Shoreline homeowners who were also raised by Shoreline homeowners, and marrying a man raised by Shoreline homeowners, I thought Shoreline was a great place to buy a home and raise my kids. Bought the home, started to raise my kids, but you people (and you know who you are) are causing me to rethink continuing our legacy in this community. Or at the very least, I may have to stop reading the local news due to it making me feel terribly sick to my stomach. Everyone needs to take a step back, take a deep breath, and start over or some of us may be taking our tax dollars elsewhere. I can tell you that you’ll be feeling my vote Nov. 6.
