Thanks
Reporter’s work was outstanding
Letters of appreciation may be old fashioned, effusive or insincere if required, but sometimes so important there is no choice but to try.
John Santana has been editor and writer at the Mill Creek Enterprise for four years. Many of our residents would evaluate his work as outstanding and use words such as honest, accurate, timely, objective, dependable, clear and consistent. We’ve been informed, challenged, encouraged, engaged and entertained by his words. We appreciate his help with announcements and coverage of our city, county and state, events big and small, good news and bad, about our neighbors and our leaders, issues which affect our daily lives. He included library programs, the Mill Creek Festival, the evolution of our Town Center, and the Run of the Mill, in which he was involved and especially well qualified. He informed us about plans for a Wal-Mart in 2003 before most of us were aware of them and helped us save our library in 2004, in a difficult election. In the process of all this, he revealed some of his own activities, thoughts, passions and wonderfully unique character.
Thanks, John. Good luck.
