TERRACE HOOPSTERS SIGN: Two seniors from Mountlake Terrace High School — John Allen and Tarik Kunduklija — have figured out where they’re going to play college basketball.
Allen, a 6-foot-1 guard, has been invited to walk on at Washington State University, Mountlake Terrace coach Nalin Sood said in a statement. Allen sat out the 2007-2008 season because the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association upheld previous rulings that he was ineligible. Allen, who started his prep career at Shorewood and averaged 16 points in one season at Terrace, was denied a request for a fifth year of eligibility.
Kunduklija, a 6-7 forward, accepted a full scholarship to play for North Seattle Community College. He averaged 14.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game for Terrace during his senior season. Kunduklija received All-Wesco South Second Team honors.

Thielsen’s first name was incorrect in a May 30 story.
Edmonds-Woodway advanced two golfers to the Class 4A state girls golf tournament. Ally Johnson and Sarah Vlasic competed May 20-21 at the Sudden Valley Golf Course.
