Members need to work on communication

Communication is often the basic reason that sometimes new and old organization members cannot get along together. Change meets resistance, heat is generated and debate generates dispute, with anger and stridence resulting.

I have yet to visit a senior center in the U.S. without learning something; perhaps this is a lesson of how not to do something. But I have learned and remembered. It’s important to belong to the South County Senior Center, it’s urgent to participate in overcoming the communication gap.

It’s great to be a member and reach a level where all members can’t get very far without doing something for somebody else.

We need you to do your part as South County senior citizens and members. Be sure to check the calendar for all the events going on.
