The Mill Creek Little League 9- and 10-year old all-star softball team defeated Kirkland 4-3 to win the state championship July 23. The players are Rachel Nies, Dewey Davis, Erin Buesser, Marissa Robison, Allie Weathersby, Megan Cooley, Anna Smith, Lauren Stewart, Bonnie Muscat, Megan Hickman and Elizabeth Aagard. The manager was Kori Robison and the coaches were Luther Weathersby and Matt Buesser.
