Shoplifting. 16400 block of SR 527. A Mill Creek business reported that someone had shoplifted a digital camera and a diet Coke. Investigation pending. Loss: $109.
Jan. 13
Theft. 800 block of 164th St SE. Mill Creek police responded to a shoplift complaint. An individual ran from the liquor store without paying for merchandise. Loss: $89.
Death. 14000 block of 25th Ave SE. An 88-year-old Mill Creek resident died of natural causes.
Property Damage. 14900 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy. Two windows were broken out of a transport bus owned by a retirement community. A rock was the weapon. Loss: $500.
Traffic. Mill Creek police responded to a two car non-injury accident. One Everett resident was stopped for traffic behind another when his foot slipped off the brake and he hit the car in front of him.
Jan. 12
Theft. 14000 block of 19th Dr. SE. A Mill Creek resident reported a rented snow board and half of his car mounted carrier rack stolen during the night. Damage to the vehicle was also observed. the case is under investigation. Loss: $1150.
Vehicle prowl. 1500 Mill Creek Blvd. A Mill Creek resident reported that someone broke out her driver’s side window to get into the car, but nothing was taken.
Traffic. Seattle Hill Rd and 132nd St SE. Mill Creek police stopped a Snohomish resident and determined that the driver was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding warrant. He was booked into the Lynnwood jail.
Jan. 11
Traffic. 900 block of 164th St SE. A woman was stopped for an expired vehicle license and cited for driving with a suspended license.
Traffic. Mill Creek police stopped a Lynnwood resident and it was determined that the driver was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the Lynnwood jail and handed over to another agency. She was also issued a citation for driving with a suspended license and failure to transfer title.
Theft. 1500 block of 25th Dr. SE. A Mill Creek woman reported she had a check stolen from her checkbook after somebody forged it and attempted to cash it at a south Everett business.
Jan. 10
Shoplifting. 1700 block of 132nd St SE. Mill Creek officers responded to a report of a theft in progress. Officers arrived and learned that a man had run out of the store with some beer. Investigation continues. Loss: $18.
Traffic. 912 164th St SE. Police stopped a vehicle for reckless driving and arrested the driver. During the stop, police learned that the driver had been drinking. At the station he refused to submit to a breath test and was booked into jail for DUI.
Jan. 9
Property damage. 15800 block SR 527. A Marysville woman reported her vehicle had been vandalized while parked in the library parking lot.
Drugs. 16400 block Mill Creek Blvd. An Everett man was stopped for driving with a suspended license. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Traffic. A vehicle was stopped for defective equipment. The Lynnwood woman did not have a driver’s license and was cited for the offense.
Jan. 8
Theft. 1200 block of 164th St. SE. A Mill Creek woman reported that someone had broken into her vehicle overnight and had stolen her CD player. Value: $150.
Theft. 1400 block of North Creek Dr. A Mill Creek woman reported that her car had been broken into and her speakers and amplifier were stolen. Value: $500.
Theft. 16000 block of Mill Creek Blvd. An employee of a local grocery store reported an unknown person had left the store without paying for the items in their basket.
Theft. 1400 block of North Creek Dr. A Redmond resident reported that her vehicle’s stereo had been stolen when it was parked at a friend’s apartment overnight.
Theft. 1400 21st Dr. SE. A man reported that his vehicle had been entered and his emergency road kit stolen. Value: $35.
Drugs. 2700 block Seattle Hill Road. A Quincy man was pulled over for a traffic violation. Further investigation found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The man was cited and released.
Property Damage. 1600 block of 127th Dr. SE. A man reported that his vehicle had been entered and the interior ransacked. The vehicle’s steering column was damaged but nothing appeared to have been taken.
Traffic. A vehicle was stopped for a defective tail light. The Everett man driving had a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant. he was booked into the county jail and his vehicle impounded.
Jan. 7
Traffic. 1500 block of 136th St. SE. An Everett youth was involved in a motor vehicle collision with a Renton woman.
