Millie Judge, a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office, recently announced her intention to run for Snohomish County executive as a Democrat.

Judge, of Mill Creek, describes herself as a moderate Democrat who wants government to be more accountable and responsive to citizens. She says she’ll be a “hands-on” leader.

“I am committed to being the most accountable and responsive County Executive Snohomish County has ever had,” Judge said in a prepared statement. “I will be an approachable public servant who collaborates, listens to people and then makes the tough decisions needed to make this county a great place to live.”

She is currently vice-president of the board of directors for the Washington Chapter of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Judge and her husband Tim have two pre-school age children.
