Here are recent reports from the Edmonds Police Department:

April 9

NUISANCE. 20800 block of 88th Place. W. Nuisance phone calls were received by Edmonds resident.

MISSING PERSON. 16000 block of 70th Ave. W. Missing spouse reported. Subject located sleeping at work.

ROBBERY. 8100 block of 236th St. SW. Two adult men were arrested for verbally attempting to rob their victim in a parking lot of a park in Edmonds.

FALSE REPORT. 100 block of Main St. Intoxicated man was arrested for false reporting after he called 911 and reported that nine people were fighting with baseball bats inside of Johnny’s Sports Bar and Grill.

April 8

THEFT. 7400 block of 210th St. SW. Wallet containing credit cards was stolen from unlocked vehicle overnight.

THEFT. 21100 block of 77th Place W. Vehicle was broken into overnight and possessions were stolen.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 8000 block of 238th St. SW. Report of a vehicle’s front window broken by a wine bottle overnight.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 8400 block 244th St. SW. A vehicle’s windshield was shattered by unknown suspect(s).

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 8400 block of 240th ST. SW. Vehicle owner reports damage to his personal vehicle and work vehicles’ front windows.

April 7

THEFT. 21900 block of Highway 99. Known 16-year-old boy shoplifted beer and deli items from Top Foods and fled after attempt to apprehend him by loss prevention officer.

NARCOTICS. 22100 block of Highway 99. Driver arrested for driving while license suspended. Marijuana found in vehicle. Arrested party cited and released.

THEFT. 22600 block of 76th Ave. W. Employee reports giving money to a person claiming to be collecting for the Washington State Department of Revenue.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 8800 block of 216 St. SW. Unknown suspect(s) used a golf ball to break a second story window.

BURGLARY. 23200 block of 76th Ave. W. Items were reported stolen from garage sometime in past week.

THEFT. 21900 block of Highway 99. A 20-year-old man was arrested for stealing $39.58 worth of merchandise from Top Foods.

TRESPASS. 24100 block of 84th Ave. W. A man was found sleeping in a detached garage. The man was issued a trespass order. The man returned and was arrested.

April 6

HARASSMENT. 23200 block of 76th Ave. W. The victim has been harassed by a female classmate at school. The victim has also been receiving harassing phone calls from the suspect.
