More board candidate forums this month

Three separate forums where the public can meet and hear from candidates for the Shoreline School Board will be held this month. The date of one of the events has been changed.

• A Shoreline School Board Candidates Meet and Greet will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26 at Anderson Plaza, 17201 15th Ave. NE in Shoreline. Candidates will share their platform at an informal gathering and find out what is important to parents in the district. Light refreshments will be served.

• The 32nd District Democrats, 32nd District Republicans and Sustainable Shoreline are jointly sponsoring a debate of Shoreline School Board candidates from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, July 27, in the Shoreline Room at the Shoreline Center. The event date was changed from an earlier date.

The public is invited to suggest questions for the candidates and incumbents by sending e-mail to July27forum@hotmail.com.

• A Shoreline School Board Candidate’s Forum will be Tuesday, July 31 at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 17418 Eighth Ave. NE in Shoreline.

From 6:30-7 p.m., attendees can meet the candidates. The forum is from 7-8:30 p.m.
