More changes at the Enterprise

In a year marked by radical changes at the Enterprise, there is still one more to come.

Starting next week, the three Snohomish County editions of the Enterprise – Edmonds, Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace, and Mill Creek – will merge into one South County edition.

In today’s current economic climate and with current trends in the newspaper industry showing no signs of changing, focusing our limited resources on one edition just makes sense. Newspapers across the country are shutting down – and as you can tell by some of the letters to the editor on this page, the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park Enterprise will soon be one of them.

You can still rely on us to cover your community the way we always have. You’ll find out what’s going on with your neighbors and friends, how our local teams are doing, what your child is doing in school. But now you’ll also get to learn what your neighbors outside your city limits are doing, and get to learn about the common issues that face all of our South County communities.
