According to a new “Regional Competiveness Indicators” report by the Prosperity Partnership, Mountlake Terrace is among the top 10 cities in the Puget Sound region for wages and jobs. Mountlake Terrace held 6,350 jobs in 2006, the report stated, with average annual wages of $47,300. Another recent report from the Puget Sound Regional Council shows the number of jobs in 2007 had increased to about 6,800.
