The Mountlake Terrace High School music department plans to host the Young Americans National Music Outreach Tour Sept. 24-26 at the Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center, 23200 100th Ave. W.

Three days of workshops and classes in voice, dance and performance skills for fourth- through 12th-grade students will culminate in a live musical concert with the Young Americans performing in Act I and the students joining for Act II. The cost of the three-day workshop is $60, which includes a T-shirt.

The Young Americans, which includes 38 college-age performers and six staff, last came to Mountlake Terrace High School in 2005 when 280 students participated in the event along with family and community members.

For more information, call Michelle Walters, a former Young American, at 425-908-7914. Visit www.mthsyoungamericans.com for registration forms.
