The Navy Band Northwest will present a free holiday concert, “A Salute to the Season,” on Dec. 2 at Everett Performing Arts Center.

Expect to hear lots of holiday favorites along with many new compositions. The concert features an audience sing-along and a special appearance by Santa.

The holiday concerts feature about 35 performers including singers all spiffed up in their finest dress blues, said Derek Brainard, a musician 3rd class and spokesman for the band.

“It’s always a great, great time,” he said. “It’s a cool opportunity for us to get into the holiday spirit with the community.”

Representatives from the Marines Corps will accept new, unwrapped gifts for the Toys for Tots program.

Tickets are free. For groups or to reserve a spot, call 425-257-8600.

The show starts at 7 p.m., Dec. 2, at Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.

The holiday stop is sponsored by the city of Everett and by Navy Region Northwest.
