New car stolen from locked condo garage

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds Police Department’s police blotter:

March 30

Warrant service. 7600 block of Lake Ballinger Way. Warrant subject turns himself in on several outstanding warrants.

March 29

Malicious mischief. 23200 block of 100th Ave. W. Graffiti was painted on a sign located on the property of Scriber Lake High School.

Burglary. 100 block of Third Ave. S. Complainant reported that someone stole his black 2007 Subaru Outback vehicle from a secured garage inside the condo’s secured parking lot. The interior of the garage appeared as if it had been rummaged by the suspect(s).

March 28

Narcotics. 23900 block of Highway 99. Occupied suspicious vehicle contacted. The driver and passenger had a warrant. Drug paraphernalia was located in the car and the driver had rock cocaine on his person. They were booked in Snohomish County Jail.

Warrant service. 19700 block of 80th Ave. W. Passenger of vehicle involved in hit and run collision found to have an arrest warrant out of King County.

Theft. 16100 block of 72nd Ave. W. Unknown suspect(s) stole a gas powered weed whacker from a table top behind his garage.

March 26

Burglary. 500 block of Elm Way. Unknown suspect(s) entered victim’s residence and stole various personal items.

March 25

Accident. 16700 block of 76th Ave. W. Vehicle was traveling northbound on 76th Avenue West at speeds estimated by witnesses to be at least 60 miles per hour in a 25 miles per hour zone. Vehicle bottomed out in a dip and the driver lost control. Vehicle spun twice, sliding across landscaping and shrubs. Vehicle came to rest against a power pole. Driver cited for reckless driving and no valid driver’s license.

Burglary. 21000 block of 76th Ave. W. Report of vehicle being unlawfully entered overnight while parked inside garage. Items stolen. No suspects.

March 24

Robbery. 22700 block of 74th Pl. W. Suspects forced way into residence looking for money and narcotics.

March 23

Disturbance. 22500 block of 96th Ave. W. Mother of three children, depressed, suicidal and willing to assault.
