What follows are updates on various road construction projects in the city of Mill Creek:
A new concrete curb at Main Street and Mill Creek Boulevard was poured on Oct. 3. The work is part of a traffic signal installation at the intersection. Decorative sidewalk work was expected to be done in phases this week. Installation of underground conduit for the signal and new street lights also continued on the east side of Mill Creek Boulevard from Main Street to 161st Street SE.
The first layer of paving was done for North Creek Drive on Sept. 26. Final paving on the road will be completed after utility poles are re-located. Despite construction, the road is open, meaning residents can drive from Dumas Road to Mill Creek City Hall and south to 164th Street SE. without using the Bothell-Everett Highway.
