The Friends of the NRA banquet is set for April 26 at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel in Everett (3105 Pine Street). The Friends of the NRA provides local support for junior shooting programs, range development and gun-safety programs in elementary schools. The banquet includes both silent and live auctions. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by dinner and the auction. Tickets may be obtained by calling 206-542-4587 or by writing to North Puget Sound Friends of NRA, P.O. Box 1462, Edmonds, WA 98020. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 12.
