Incumbent state Rep. Maralyn Chase, D-Edmonds, is not only running uncontested for 32nd District House Race Pos. 1 on the Nov. 2 ballot, she is also a strong candidate who deserves the votes.
Chase is passionate about schools. She opposes R-55 because she does not feel charter schools allow for equal opportunity. Chase believes public education is one of the best contributions to Democracy, as it allows students to be judged on merit.
Chase favors alternative energy sources, especially solar energy and reducing dependence on foreign fuel sources. She has ideas about how to create additional jobs in Washington by utilizing the installation of solar panels in more houses.
Her remedy for traffic congestion is to encourage people to ride buses to work. Chase has the energy, knowledge and drive to make another term in the Legislature a success.
