Snohomish County will send primary-election ballots to military and other overseas voters Friday.

All counties around the state must send primary-election ballots to military and other overseas voters by Saturday

That’s because of state and federal laws that require ballots for military and other overseas voters to be in the mail 45 days before the Aug. 7 primary election.

The counties will mail ballots to domestic voters July 18.
