The Lynnwood Arts Commission presents artwork from painter Dennis Fisk and printmaker Becky Birinyi at the Lynnwood Library Gallery now through July 10.

Growing up in Washington and Oregon, Dennis Fisk has had broad exposure to the Pacific Northwest. Like many Northwest artists, the mountains, forests and seascapes have become a sort of muse for Dennis’ paintings. Painting in his favorite medium, gouache, Dennis’s work depicts those first moments when we come in contact with something beautiful in nature.

Becky Birinyi earned a BFA in printmaking from the University of Washington and has exhibited her work throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her current Monotype prints and pastel drawings explore the subject matter of light, as well as, the tensions between nature and the modern world in urban settings. Her work is in numerous private collections throughout the country and she has been a member of Seattle Art Prints since 2000.

The Lynnwood Library Gallery, located at 19200 44th Avenue W., is free to the public, and showcases local and regional artists on both the amateur and professional level.
