Parking spots taken by those who can’t read

As a Shoreline resident since 1950 and a staunch supporter of our superb school system, willing to support all school levies, I was very much dismayed at the display and lack of “reading comprehension” of those attending the meeting today (Sept. 27). A few of the parking spaces at the meeting place are set aside and signs are posted (for those who can read) for the Shoreline Senior Center. It was absolutely disgusting to find every space taken by attendees of the teachers meeting.

All I hope is that they will grow old and be so “abused” by the kids that they’ve taught to read.
