Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Company announced the internal appointment of Julie Moss to their sales management team, leading the contractor sales division. Previously she was head of operations in the Spokane store and showroom. Moss has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, from managing a retail showroom to designing kitchens featured on HGTV and the 2006 Spokane Street of Dreams.

Sandy Bland, a staff member at Harbour Pointe Retirement and Assisted Living Community in Mukilteo, was recently honored for 10 years of “service with a smile” in the community’s dining room. Bland received flowers and a certificate from Harbour Pointe executive director Ann Struthers and was featured in the Harbour Pointe newsletter.

Janet Hall, Mountlake Terrace’s traffic engineer, has earned professional traffic operations engineer certification. This certification demonstrates her knowledge, skill and ability in the specialized application of traffic operations engineering. Certification requirements include having at least four years of experience in professional traffic operations engineering and passing a six-hour exam. Hall’s pursuit of this professional certification was by her own initiative, cost and time.
