People Watching: New manager at Goldfinch Bros.; new staff at Sparling

Sparling has welcomed Tara Yost, Gaye Jones and Giona Muniz to the firm as administrative staff in its Lynnwood office. Yost has five years of experience. In her studio-coordinator role at Sparling, she provides support to several Sparling studio principals and works on major project administration. Jones and Muniz are responsible for reception duties and administrative support in the Lynnwood office.

Brian Cornish has joined Goldfinch Bros. as business development manager for its residential division. Cornish will be responsible for for developing business opportunities with architects and builders throughout the Puget Sound region. He also will work with Goldfinch vice president Dan Bagger to set the strategy and marketing priorities for Goldfinch’s residential business.

Seattle-based Bartell Drugs has named Brent Beebe senior vice president, merchandising. He will develop and lead merchandising and category management while taking the lead in merchandising innovation for Bartell Drugs’ 63 locations. Beebe most recently was vice president and general merchandise manager for Jo-Ann Stores and previously held positions with Fred Meyer and Meier &Frank.

Steve Sant, an independent financial adviser affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network and a personal wealth manager for Sant McMahon in Lynnwood, has achieved Commonwealth President’s Club status for 2014. This distinction recognizes financial advisers based on a ranking of annual production among Commonwealth’s network of 1,487 financial advisers.

Bob McMahon, personal wealth manager for Sant McMahon in Lynnwood, recently attended the Commonwealth Financial Network’s Winners Circle conference in Litchfield Park, Ariz. While there, he gave to those in need by partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Central Arizona. Commonwealth volunteers helped work on three new homes for low-income families.
