People Watching: Promotions at 1st Security, People’s banks

1st Security Bank has hired Jeff Nance as a loan officer and manager of its new Bothell Home Lending office. The Bothell resident and U.S. Coast Guard veteran has more than 15 years of industry experience. He has served as both a sales and branch manager prior to joining 1st Security Bank.

Charlie Martinez has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president at People’s Bank and will continue her role as branch manager at the Everett Financial Center. Martinez has served clients in financial services for more than 39 years and, prior to her role as Everett branch manager, she managed the Bank’s office at Carillon Point.

Marie Auriol has been promoted to assistant vice president at People’s Bank and continues her role as branch manager at the Snohomish office at Fred Meyer. Auriol has more than 23 years of experience in financial services. She is active in the community and is an officer of the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce. She has been with Peoples Bank for five years.

Fire Mountain Solar has added Joan Schrammeck as customer outreach coordinator. She will organize community education and marketing events, and assist owner and project manager Tim Nelson with sales presentations and customer support. Previously Schrammeck was coordinator with the non-profit educational organization Solar Washington.

Snohomish resident Cathy Reines has joined Footprint Investment LLC as the new president and CEO. She will be working with fellow Snohomish County resident, Jim Potter, who founded the company. Footprint Investment is developing micro-suite housing throughout the greater Seattle area, Portland and Oakland and is in the planning stages for projects across the U.S.

The Everett Public Schools Foundation has welcomed two new board members, each with children attending the Everett Public Schools. Rich White is a manager at Boeing and a director with several other local organizations. Michelle Nims is the current Everett PTSA Council 7.3 president and is an administrator and events coordinator for the Mill Creek Town Center.

Stevenson Advertising, with offices in Lynnwood, recently welcomed Mary Beth Manley and Lindsey Weedston to their team in an effort to move toward expanding their digital marketing departments. Both are experienced in the online marketing field, each with their own specialties that will help round out the advertising knowledge-base of the company.
