Rachel Petersen and Gabe Pickens exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 11, 2006, at Cascade Community Church in Monroe.
The bride, daughter of Lonny and Julee Petersen of Monroe, is a 2003 graduate of Monroe High School. She will graduate from the University of Washington – Bothell next year with a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. She is currently employed at Providence Physicians group.
The groom, son of Wayne and Dina Pickens of Monroe, is a 2002 graduate of Monroe High School. He is currently employed as a field manager for SheaHomes in Redmond.
Following their honeymoon in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Monroe.
