Mildred Opal “Millie” Peterson of Mountlake Terrace will celebrate her 90th birthday with an event at her granddaughter’s home and also at Edmonds Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Peterson was born April 13, 1915 to a farming family in Hampton, Neb. Her passion for music inspired a successful piano teaching career. She was married for 59 years to husband “Pete” until his death in 1996. Among her hobbies are nurturing 150 flower containers, playing piano for sing-alongs, photography, and sending inspirational and humorous greeting cards.
Mrs. Peterson has two daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
