Here are the latest reports from Mountlake Terrace, Brier and Lynnwood police.

April 5

Residential burglary. 23000 block of 32nd Ave. W. A Bothell woman said someone had broken out the front door window to a residence currently in foreclosure and entered without permission. Sleeping bags, garbage and rotting food were strewn throughout the residence. Police couldn’t find the occupants.

Malicious mischief. 22100 block of 34th Ave. W. A Brier woman said someone shot out the sliding door to her residence with a gun. Many residents reported hearing gun shots.

March 31

Man drinking. Interurban trail, 7000 block 220th St. SW. Police arrested a 40-year-old Everett man for theft warrants after a witness called 911 to report seeing him drinking in the bushes along the trail.

Theft from vehicle. 23000 block Lapierre Drive, 5:16 a.m. A 41-year-old Mountlake Terrace woman said someone stole her ID, including a credit card, cell phone charger and radar detector from her unlocked car.

3400 block of 214th St. SW. A Brier woman said she found an unoccupied car lying on its top in her yard. It appeared the driver lost control of the vehicle, which struck a curb and flipped onto its side, then slid across her yard causing damage. Police later determined that the car had been stolen in Woodway.

March 28

Cop’s car hit by drunk. An officer reported his car had been rear-ended by a drunken driver, causing the trunk to crumple up. In speaking to the driver, the officer noticed that his speech was slurred and he smelled of alcohol. The suspect was arrested for DUI and refusing to cooperate with an officer.
