Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park Police.

Aug. 23

Burglary. 4500 block NE. 201st Pl. A woman called police claiming that a window installer stole a necklace from her residence.

Aug. 22

Larceny. 900 block N. 199th St. Someone “borrowed” a DVD player and did not return it to the owner.

Aug. 21

Child molestation. NE. 185th and First Ave. NE. A woman called police after her 2-year-old told her she had been inappropriately touched.

Larceny. 15700 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone stole $19.99 worth of merchandise from a store.

Suspicious circumstance. 4700 block NE. 187th Pl. A male called police after he saw someone taking pictures of his house.

Larceny. 16500 block Aurora Ave. N. An unknown person pumped gas into their vehicle and left without paying.

Aug. 20

Vandalism. 17200 block Ashworth Ave. N. A male attempted to report non-existent property damage.

Suspicious circumstance. NW. 200th St. and Third Ave. NW. Someone used their personal vehicle as if it were an unofficial police vehicle.

Aug. 19

Vandalism. 1200 block N. 185th St. A man urinated in a parking lot and then told police his vehicle’s window was broken.

Aug. 18

Liquor violation. NW. 190th St. and 20th Ave. NW. A male bought beer for his underage brother and his underage two friends.

Suspicious circumstance. 18500 block 37th Ave. NE. A female who was sitting and thinking was told by police to do so in another location.
