Here are selected reports from Lynnwood, Brier and Mountlake Terrace Police Departments.
Theft, fraud, identity theft. 23400 block of 29th Ave. W. Police pulled over a car driven by a 26-year-old Brier man they knew to have a suspended driver’s license. The suspect got out of the car and tried to enter a house, initially ignoring an officer’s command to stop. After arresting him, police found a 27-year-old Lynnwood woman hiding in the back seat. After searching the vehicle, police found stolen checks, credit cards and financial statements. Police also discovered the passenger had attempted to pass one of the stolen checks at a local grocery, then stole a vehicle from the parking lot. Both suspects were booked into jail.
Suspended license. 23100 block of Brier Road. Police cited and released a 26-year-old Everett man after stopping his car because he was driving with a suspended license.
Suspended license. 22800 block of Old Poplar Way. 18-year-old white male from Brier driving a 1993 GMC Safari van was stopped for defective brake light. Record check found his driving status suspended. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle left legally parked at scene.
Vehicle prowl. 18820 Highway 99, 1:46 p.m. Someone broke the rear passenger window of a car and stole a purse.
Identity theft. 9:13 a.m. A Lynnwood man who was issued a citation for a driving violation said someone stole his identity and the court had summoned the wrong person.
Robbery. Nordstrom, 3200 184th St. SW, 4:22 p.m. Police arrested a 20-year-old woman for robbery after she fought with the store’s loss prevention officer, who held her for police on suspicion of shoplifting. Police recovered $300 worth of store merchandise from the woman.
DUI. 4300 196th St. SW, 9:19 p.m. Police arrested a 36-year-old Everett man for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Theft. 3000 block 184th St. SW, 5:42 p.m. Someone broke into a car parked at the Alderwood mall and stole two laptop computers and a digital camera.
Malicious mischief. 6815 196th St. SW, 5:50 p.m. Police arrested a 27-year-old man for spray-painting graffiti on a church wall. He was issued a citation.
Indecent exposure. 4700 block 200th St. SW, 9:52 a.m. A woman said a man exposed himself to her when he peered at her through her apartment window.
Warrant arrests. 16800 Highway 99, 2:06 p.m. Police arrested three people wanted by court order for possession of stolen property: a 21-year-old woman for financial fraud; a 23-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia and a large blade hunting knife; and a 20-year-old woman for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lynnwood police responded to 13 domestic violence calls March 16-22.
