Jan. 2
Larceny. 12000 block N. 175th St. A woman wanted to pay for her groceries, but noticed her checkbook and its contents were missing from her purse.
Larceny. 14000 block Whitman Ave. N. A vehicle was entered and a new box of spark plug wires were taken.
Jan. 1
Assault. 15000 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone was fighting casino security, then assaulted officers who responded to the scene. At the hospital, the suspect spit in an officer’s face.
Dec. 31
Residential burglary. 17200 block 10th Ave. NE. Windows were damaged with BBs overnight at a house that is under construction.
Commercial burglary. 19500 block Aurora Ave. N. Suspects used a tool to pry open a door to a restaurant, then went in the office and moved the safe out to the dining area, where they opened it and took cash and checks.
Violation. 16300 block Linden Ave. N. A living room window was broken.
DUI. 15300 block Bothell Way NE. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.
Malicious mischief. 4600 block NE 203rd St. Graffiti was reported on a fence, written in blue paint.
Dec. 30
DUI. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. A man was driving while intoxicated.
Larceny. 18500 block Densmore Ave. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
Residential burglary. 20900 block NW 203rd St. Late at night, someone unlocked a vehicle and removed Christmas presents from inside.
Residential burglary. 16000 block Meridian Ave. N. A sliding door was forced open and $20 to $40 was stolen.
Assault. 14600 block 15th Ave. NE. Someone kicked a victim and struck another victim with a curtain rod at a restaurant.
911 call. 2800 block NE 180th St. An 8-year-old girl called police to tattle on her sister for being mean. Both girls were grounded by their parents and “promised not to do it again.”
Dec. 29
Mischief and nuisance. 11000 block N. 183rd St. A woman’s ex-boyfriend from four years ago tried to contact her via the Internet. She said he was harassing her.
Larceny. 1200 block N. 175th St. A woman stole a bouquet of flowers.
Malicious mischief. 16000 block 36th Ave. NE. A house was egged.
Dec. 28
Larceny. 17000 block 15th Ave. NE. A suspect stole checks from a church office.
Residential burglary. 19300 block Fifth Ave. NE. A garage door was left open and someone entered the house and removed a stove from the kitchen.
Residential burglary. 19700 block 32nd Ave. NE. A new home under construction was burglarized overnight. Some lights and painting equipment were taken.
Threats. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A woman was verbally threatened at a mall after she honked her horn at another driver who almost hit her vehicle.
