The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and/or Brier.

June 28

Narcotics. 3800 block of 196th Street SW. A 21-year-old man was arrested at 3:40 p.m. for narcotics violations.

June 29

Burglary. 4800 block of 180th Street SW. Someone stole about $1,370 worth of items from an apartment. They apparently entered through an unsecured window.

June 30

Vandalism. 18600 block of 44th Avenue W. Someone painted graffiti on the brick wall of a school.

Vandalism. 18900 block of 44th Avenue W. A male on a bike attempted to do a “trick” over a parked vehicle, crashed into the vehicle and then rode away. The vehicle was damaged.

Theft. 16700 block of Highway 99. Someone stole a vehicle with custom wheels from Wild West Cars. The vehicle was located the same day, but the tires were missing.

Fire. 23400 block of 38th Place W. A 12-year-old boy and 11-year-old boy were playing with fireworks and threw a smoke bomb into some shrubs that belonged to a 73-year-old Brier man. The shrubs caught fire and were a total loss. No charges were filed.

Narcotics. 16700 block of Highway 99. A 24-year-old man was arrested at 7:20 p.m. for narcotics violations.

July 1

DUI. 18300 block of 52nd Avenue W. A man was arrested at 11:56 p.m. for driving under the influence.

Theft. 21200 block of 38th Place W. A 67-year-old Brier man reported that someone stole his 1998 Dodge Ram from his driveway.

July 3

Accident. 20800 block of Highway 99. Police responded at 10:33 p.m. to a motorcycle accident. The driver and passenger were injured.

July 4

Narcotics. 3800 block of 156th Street SW. A male was arrested at 10:46 p.m. for narcotics violations and eluding police.

Narcotics. 6500 block of 208th Street SW. A 31-year-old woman was arrested at 12:23 p.m. for narcotics violations.

July 5

Arson. 2600 block of Elm Drive. City workers found damage in the park restrooms. Someone left fireworks on a plastic lid, which burned in the restrooms.

Narcotics. 3700 block of 156th Street SW. A 43-year-old man was arrested at 4:56 p.m. for narcotics violations.

Theft. 5700 block of 196th Street SW. A 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen from the parking lot of a bank.

Burglary. 5300 block of 188th Street SW. Someone stole about $7,400 worth of items from an apartment. They apparently entered through an unsecured window.

July 6

Illegal dumping. 23600 block of 24th Ave. W. Someone dumped two garbage bags full of used fireworks in the roadway.

Theft. 22000 block of Oak Way. Someone removed the wheels and tires from a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer parked in front of a residence and left the vehicle standing on landscape blocks from the property.

Narcotics. 17200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A 29-year-old man was arrested at 7:08 p.m. for narcotics violations related to methamphetamine.

Domestic violence calls: Brier Police responded to two domestic disputes from June 30 – July 6. Lynnwood Police responded to 16 domestic calls from July 2- July 9.
