Aug. 17
Larceny. 15700 block Westminster Way. Someone took five spools of copper wire from the rear of a truck.
Larceny. 60000 block NW Richmond Beach Rd. A woman’s purse was stolen while she shopped at a grocery store.
Aug. 18
Auto theft. 90000 block N. 177th St. A 1979 Chevrolet station wagon was stolen.
Civil. 17800 block 40th Ave. NE. A man complained he was not paid by his employer. The employer’s representative said checks had just been sent out in the mail.
Suspicious circumstances. 17300 block Beach Dr. NE. Two juveniles were playing with a Ouija Board on a dock in a park, although the park was closed.
Aug. 19
Larceny. 18500 block Third Ave. While a man participated in a 10K run, someone broke his car window and tried stealing his wallet.
Embezzlement. 16700 block Aurora Ave. N. A casino employee palmed casino chips, then slipped them into his pocket.
Marijuana. 18500 block Aurora Ave. N. A gym employee was found smoking marijuana in the sales office.
Child neglect. 18500 block First Ave. NE. A man drove away, leaving his 8-year-old daughter alone near a roadway.
Residential burglary. 17000 block NE 145th St. Two first-floor apartments were broken into. CDs, games and movies were stolen. Access was gained through unlocked windows.
Robbery. 19200 block Firlands Way N. A victim was jumped by two suspects and his cell phone taken.
Suspicious circumstances. 17400 block Brookside Blvd. NE. Two homeless people were sleeping in a car in a park. They were asked to leave.
Threats. 19000 block Ballinger Way NE. A man and his wife were threatened by a neighbor, who said he would send people to beat them up.
Aug. 20
DUI. 14300 block Wallingford Ave. A man stopped for going 68 mph in a 35 mph zone was arrested for drinking and driving.
Commercial burglary. 18000 block 15th Ave. NE. Suspects broke the front door glass at a grocery store, stole two cash registers and opened a safe.
Assault. 1000 block NW Innis Arden Dr. A fight between soccer teams was reported.
Residential burglary. 14500 block 31st Ave. NE. Two people walked into a house and stole a vacuum cleaner.
Residential burglary. 18300 block 15th Pl. NE. A house was entered and items stolen.
DUI. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. Suspects with open containers were arrested.
Aug. 21
Commercial burglary. 16000 block 25th Ave. NE. Suspects entered a middle school, set off fire alarms and discharged fire extinguishers.
Vandalism. 16300 block Ashworth Ave. N. Several vehicle windows were tagged with graffiti written with a marker and grease-type pen.
Aug. 22
Larceny. 14500 block Eighth Ave. NE. Two weed eaters were stolen from a yard.
Aug. 23
DUI. 91000 block N. 145th St. A hit and run accident involving alcohol consumption occurred in a casino parking lot.
Vandalism. 27000 block NE 158th St. Two windows were broken at a principals office at an elementary school.
Reckless endangerment. 19200 block Aurora Ave. N. Paint balls were shot at cars and businesses.
Larceny. 14000 block N. 155th St. A laptop was stolen after the owner set it on the steps of a motor home.
Malicious mischief. 19200 block Forest Park. Dr. A tire was slashed.
Suspicious circumstances. 16500 block Burke Gilman Trail. Bushes were covered in toilet paper.
Aug. 24.
DUI accident. 20500 block Meridian Ave. N. A Chevrolet van hit a block wall.
Suspicious circumstances. 2900 block NE 180th St. A driver was passed out in his car for several hours. When contacted by an officer, the man said “the sound of the water was so serene that I just fell asleep.”
Suspicious circumstances. 3600 block NE 155th St. A female apartment tenant was seen walking around the complex naked. When contacted by officers, she opened her door nude.
Three domestic violence calls were reported between Aug. 17- 24.
