Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.
April 7
Larceny. 18900 block Forest park Dr. NE. A bicycle was stolen overnight. The owner previously had it registered with the National Bike Registry.
Traffic. 16500 block Bothell Way NE. A driver cut another driver off and then pointed his finger like he was shooting the other driver.
Assault. 2000 block NW 190th St. Two people were assaulted by five unknown suspects. They were punched, kicked and stomped, with one victim possibly suffering a broken jaw.
April 8
DUI. 16000 block Bothell Way NE. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.
April 9
Larceny. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A man’s wallet was stolen at a bakery.
Malicious mischief. 4500 block NE 204th Pl. A church was vandalized when two juveniles spray painted the church.
Phone calls. 14800 block Linden Ave. N. An unknown man was calling a woman on her cell phone and being “annoying and rude.”
Residential burglary. 19100 block Stone Ave. N. A vacant, single-family home undergoing remodel work was burglarized and more than $8,000 worth of tools were taken.
Assault. 16500 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone threw a two-pound rock at a man, causing injury to his left elbow.
April 10
Assault. 1300 block N. 200th St. A woman slapped a friend and hit her in the face.
April 11
Malicious mischief. 18200 block 35th Ave. NE. Fireworks were let off on a porch overnight.
Property. 16000 block 32nd Ave. NE. A resident found what he presumed to be dynamite in his garage, which he said belonged to his recently deceased father and was at least 30 years old. The dynamite turned out to be road flares.
DUI. Bothell Way NE and Ballinger Way NE. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.
Suspicious circumstances. 16200 block 41st. Ave. NE. A woman reported her 14-year-old daughter was instant messaging before and after school with a teacher. The mother suspected inappropriate behavior.
Vandalism. 18500 block Eighth Ave. NE. New roofing nails were thrown in a victim’s driveway in an attempt to pop car tires.
Larceny. 15800 block Westminster Way. A suspect was arrested for shoplifting clothes and a heroin kit was found on his possession.
Auto theft. 16700 block Aurora Ave. N. A vehicle was stolen from a car dealership after keys were obtained for a test drive.
Residential burglary. 16500 block Fifth Ave. NE. Tools were stolen by unknown people at an unsecured garage.
April 12
Suspicious circumstances. 19300 block 47th Ave. NE. A woman was approached by a man who asked if he could store his groceries in her freezer because he was locked out of his house. The man then asked her if she lived alone and if she would be alone all night.
Citizen. Ballinger Way NE and Bothell Way NE. Gym employees were on a corner advertising without a permit, causing minor traffic issues.
Vandalism. 1100 block N. 175th St. The front door and outdoor sign of a business were painted with gold spray paint. There was no discernible message, however.
Larceny. 1400 block NW Richmond Beach Rd. Reader board letters and a palm tree were stolen from outside a business.
Auto theft. 1500 block NE 148th St. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot.
Vandalism. 1500 block NW 195th St. A locked, outgoing mailbox and several others were pried open at an apartment complex.
