The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and/or Brier.
June 16
Accident. 21800 block of Oak Way. A 2000 Jeep Cherokee left the roadway and flipped onto its top. The driver, a 21-year-old Edmonds man, said he swerved to avoid hitting an animal. No one was severely injured.
Disturbance. 3600 block of 232nd St. SW. Police responded to a report of four teen boys in possession of firearms. Police contacted subjects and discovered they possessed Airsoft toy guns.
June 17
Drugs. 6300 block of 220th St. SW. A 25-year-old Everett woman was arrested at 1:30 a.m. for possessing 1.6 grams of methamphetamine. She was driving a blue 1987 Cadillac Seville.
Burglary. 22900 block of 60th Ave. W. Unknown suspects stole a laptop and weedwhacker from a single-story house overnight.
June 18
Drugs. Intersection of 236th St. SW and 56th Ave. W. A 22-year-old Mountlake Terrace woman was arrested at 10:13 p.m. for possession of 5.6 grams of cocaine and driving with a suspended license. She was driving a white 1991 Chevrolet Lumina, which police stopped because the windshield was cracked in multiple locations. The passengers, A 21-year-old Lynnwood man and 8-month-old Mountlake Terrace boy, were let go.
June 19
Vehicle theft. 6000 block of 244th St. SW. A silver 1993 Saturn SL2 was stolen.
Vehicle theft. 6000 block of St. Albion Way. A green 1992 Jeep was stolen.
Vehicle theft. 21300 block of 48th Ave. W. A green 1992 Nissan was stolen.
Vehicle theft. 21400 block of 48th Ave. W. A white 1990 Subaru Legacy was stolen.
June 20
DUI. 6300 block of 220th St. SW. A 30-year-old Seattle woman was arrested at 1:42 a.m. for driving under the influence of alcohol. A field sobriety test showed she had a blood alcohol content of .215, more than twice the state limit of .08.
Theft. 2200 block of 214th Place SW. A 50-year-old Brier woman reported that someone stole her cellphone and made calls.
June 21
Fireworks. 23308 56th Ave. W. Police responded to a report of illegal fireworks in the parking lot of Cousin’s hair salon in Mountlake Terrace.
