Here are selected reports from Edmonds Police:

March 27

Arson. 9700 block of Edmonds Way. Magazines and papers were set on fire behind a business complex. Damage was figured at $50.

March 31

Assault. 8700 block of 236th Street Southwest. A verbal dispute between a homeowner and a locksmith resulted in the homeowner attacking the locksmith’s van with a sledgehammer. The victim then was struck with the sledgehammer, which knocked out one tooth and chipped several more. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into Snohomish County Jail.

April 1

Assault. 19500 block of 82nd Place West. An intoxicated 42-year-old woman was arrested after assaulting her husband and teenage daughter. She was booked into Lynnwood Jail.

Malicious mischief. 21600 81st Avenue West. A street sign was defaced with graffiti. Loss was $20.

Malicious mischief. 8100 block of 206th Street Southwest. A doorknob was broken off and a real-estate company’s key box stolen.

April 2

Theft. 18100 block of Andover Avenue. A lock box attached to a front door was stolen. Loss was $180.
