Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

March 2

Fraud. 1200 block N. 205th Ave. N. A woman told another woman she did not trust banks and convinced her to withdraw $2,025 to “show the bank could be trusted.” The suspect then left with the cash.

Assault. 16500 block 10th Ave. NE. A man was walking his dog when someone drove by in a car and one of the occupants shot him in the groin area with a paint ball.

March 3

Larceny. 14500 block Meridian Ave. N. A man had 11 boxes delivered to his house and seven of them were stolen.

DUI. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. A driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after committing a traffic infraction.

Violation. 1200 block N. 185th St. A woman left her child unattended in a running vehicle while she went into a grocery store to buy cookies.

March 4

Vandalism. 17200 block 12th Ave. NW. A man noticed the front windows of his house had been hit with several eggs.

Attempted auto theft. 18100 block 15th Ave. NE. Suspects broke a rear corner window to gain access to a car and attempted to start the vehicle.

March 6

Commercial burglary. 15400 block 15th Ave. NE. A business was accessed when a window in a front door was broken. Three computers with keyboards were taken.

Vandalism. 18000 block Midvale Ave. N. Someone used a BB or pellet gun to shoot out two apartment windows.

March 7

Auto theft. 18000 block NE 170th St. A 1996 Saturn was stolen.

Auto theft. 14800 block 15th Ave. NE. A vehicle was taken from an apartment complex lot and was later located two blocks away with the engine running.

Larceny. 16100 block Greenwood Ave. Audio equipment was stolen from a college music lab.

Vandalism. 400 block NE 165th St. The front door to an apartment building was broken.

Obstructing an officer. 19000 block First Ave. NE. A student was arrested for obstructing a police officer during a high school bomb threat.

March 8

Larceny. 18500 block Eighth Ave. NW. A woman reported a “for sale” sign at the corner of an intersection was stolen during an open house.
