The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports:

Sept. 19

Malicious mischief. 7000 block of 202nd Pl. SW. The rear window of a Mustang convertible was shattered.

Found property. 23000 block of 76th Ave. W. A woman found a metal gas can full of gas next to the sidewalk near her property. The Edmonds Fire Department was contacted and disposed of the gas.

Fireworks. 21000 block of 80th Ave W. Juveniles were lighting fireworks during the halftime show at Edmonds District Stadium.

Fraud. 18000 block of 84th Pl. W. A fraudulent cashiers check was used to try to obtain cash.

Sept. 16

Burglary. 23000 block of 76th Ave. W. Rifles and checks were stolen during a residential burglary.

Suspicious circumstances. 8000 block of 238th St. SW. Police observed someone in a parking lot throwing away mail. Dropped items on the grounds were taken into evidence.

Sept. 15

Burglary. 1000 block of Olympic View Dr. A woman was arrested and booked into jail for assisting with a commercial burglary where she was employed. Two other suspects are being sought in connection with the burglary.
