Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Nov. 26

Drugs. 2200 block NE 169th St. A man overdosed on drugs while taking advantage of his 81-year-old mother.

Larceny. 1300 block N. 152nd St. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in an apartment complex parking lot.

Suspicious circumstances. 1400 block NW 197th St. A woman went outside to get some firewood and noticed her dog attacked someone who was peering into her living-room windows.

Illegal dumping. 15500 block Greenwood Ave. Someone dumped a large pile of newspapers and Dino Rossi signs in a random driveway.

Forgery. 15300 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone tried to cash a fraudulent check at a bank.

Vandalism. 20500 block First Ave. NE. A woman reported her car was hit by a paint ball while she was driving down a residential street.

Fraud. 15700 block 38th Ave. NE. A man reported a credit card he never received was stolen from his mailbox and used to purchase items.

Animal. 17800 block 40th Ave. NE. A woman reported two pit bulls were running around.

Identity theft. 3600 block NE 155th St. A man reported someone wrote a $900 check using one of his checks that was likely stolen from his mailbox.

Nov. 27

Auto theft. 2300 block N. 196th St. A car was stolen and later recovered at a cemetery.

Larceny. 15000 block 30th Ave. NE. A stolen credit card was used at various businesses to rack up a $3,000 bill.

Forgery. 20300 block Ballinger Way. A woman attempted to purchase something at a drug store with a fraudulent check, but was refused because she had no ID. She left the store and was later arrested by police on another charge.

Larceny. 17400 block 14th Ave. NW. A man reported someone obtained access to his vehicle via an unlocked door. Items were stolen, but there was no damage to the car.

Larceny. 16800 block 14th Ave. NW. When returning from a vacation, a woman noticed some of her mail was torn up and scattered around her mailbox.

Assault. 2100 block N. 156th St. A 22-year-old schizophrenic male, off medication, attacked his live-in father.

Larceny. 800 block N. 161st Pl. A woman reported someone broke the front passenger window of her car and took several tools and her checkbook.

Phone threats. 14800 block 15th Ave. NE. Someone reported receiving death threats via phone. The calls were made from various numbers.

Found. 2100 block Forest Park Dr. A woman found a business safe on a trail during a walk.

Nov. 28

Larceny. 16100 block 15th Ave. NE. A man pumped gas and drove off without paying.

Vandalism. 17000 block Third Ave. NE. Someone reported their car was hit with a rock.

Larceny. 17200 block 14th Ave. NW. A man reported his car window was smashed and his computer taken. His car was parked in his driveway.

Residential burglary. 2200 block NE 199th Ct. An unknown suspect entered a home through an unlocked window and stole an Xbox. The victim suspects his 12-year-old neighbor took the machine, since he did not have an Xbox to play Halo 2.

Larceny. 16500 block 23rd Ave. NE. A man reported someone obtained access to his car and stole golf clubs. He was unsure how access was obtained, as there was no damage to the vehicle.

DUI. 17400 block 37th Ave. NE. A man was arrested for DUI.

Residential burglary. 4600 block NE 175th St. Someone reported their house was broken into through an unlocked garage door. Garage sale items were taken.

Nov. 30

DUI. 23600 block Cedar Way. Someone was arrested for DUI.

Suspicious circumstances. Ballinger and Bothell ways. Someone clothed in light blue was reported walking in the roadway, in the transit lane.

Dec. 1

Suspicious circumstances. 16800 block Bothell Way NE. A suspicious person was reported at an espresso stand, waiting for his wife to pick him up.

Prowler. 18900 block 35th Ave. NE. A woman reported hearing noise coming from a house she lives above. She shined her flashlight in the window of the house and the noise immediately stopped.

Dec. 2

Suspicious circumstances. 16200 block Bothell Way NE. A woman who was house-sitting for a friend, noticed sandbags were missing from the home.
