The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports:
Sept. 25
Domestic. 500 block of Alder St. An elderly man suffering from dementia called 911 and hung up. His wife said she didn’t know why he called but said his condition is worsening.
Malicious mischief. 20000 block of 74th Ave. W. Unknown persons damaged six new foundation vent covers.
Theft. 8000 block of 244th St. SW. A dine and dash incident was reported at a local restaurant.
Sept. 24
Malicious mischief. 23000 block of Highway 99. A man reported that his vehicle was keyed sometime during the night.
Information. 100 block of Sunset Ave. N. Edmonds officers located a woman who was incoherent and incapable of caring for herself. She was taken to Stevens Hospital for evaluation.
DUI. 22000 block of Highway 99. A traffic stop lead to the arrest of a subject for DUI and DWLS in the first degree. During the inventory of the vehicle, a small piece of cocaine was found inside the car. Additional charge is pending lab results at this time.
