The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

June 19

Drugs/suspicious activity. 17900 block of 64th Ave. W. Someone reported they saw a person entering a school with cans of spray paint. After the person was confronted by police, they arrested the person for being in possession of narcotics.

Malicious mischief. 5600 block of 186th St. SW. A man reported someone he knew slashed his tires.

Theft. 19800 block of 50th Ave. W. A woman reported unknown persons stole the license plate off her vehicle.

June 18

Disturbance. 4800 block of 168th St. SW. Someone reported a disturbance after they thought someone was fighting. No other information was provided in the police report.

Fraud. 19200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A female tried to use a counterfeit bill to purchase something. The female said she received the bill after she did a babysitting job.

Fraud. 20000 block of 44th Ave. W. Someone attempted to pass a fraudulent check.

Domestic violence

According to the Lynnwood Police Department, there were 20 domestic violence calls from June 15 to June 22.
