The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

July 11

Malicious mischief. 17700 block of 66th Pl. W. Two brothers were in a fight over a woman and one brother threw a brick at the others car after climbing onto of the hood of the car. One of the brothers and a 19-year-old woman were arrested for felony malicious mischief charges.

Drugs. 4600 block 196th street SW. A 34 year-old man was arrested after he was found shoplifting and in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sexual offense. 19500 block Highway 99. A 38 year-old man exposed himself to two girls in a local grocery store parking lot. The man claimed that he “was gesturing to someone else,” according to police officials.

Car prowl. 3000 block St. SW. A 20 year-old man reported unknown persons broke into his car by “punching” a hole into the driver’s side door handle. Among the items stolen were a computer and a CD player.

Car prowl. 19400 block 74th Ave. SW. A 29 year-old man reported unknown persons stole change, tools and CDs from his vehicle. The dome light from vehicle was also removed. It is unknown how thieves broke into the vehicle.

Car prowl. 4700 block 176th St. SW. Juvenile boys were arrested for car prowls and theft of a car CD player.

July 10

Drugs. 17200 block Highway 99. A 28 year-old woman was arrested for drug charges and financial fraud. At the same time, a 46 year-old man was arrested for financial fraud. Both were arrested and booked in the Lynnwood Jail.

Domestic violence

According to the Mountlake Terrace Police Department, there were 10 domestic violence calls from July 6 to July 12.

According to the Lynnwood Police Department, there were 16 domestic violence calls from July 6 to July 12.
