The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Aug. 19

Theft. 4200 block of 196th St. SW. A 49-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting, and a 35-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting, making false statements and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft. 18700 block of Alderwood Mall Pk. A 49-year-old female was arrested for stealing $331 worth of clothing.

Aug. 20

Burglary. 19500 block of Highway 99. A business reported cash, a safe lock box and personnel files stolen. Entry was gained by forcing the door open. A large rock was found near the manager’s office next to the safe.

Theft. 5600 block of 200th St. SW. A 35-year-old female reported that she had set some luggage and a purse down in the parking lot of an apartment complex when an unknown male suspect ran up and grabbed her purse. He left in a vehicle with her purse.

The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Aug. 21

Theft. 19500 block of Highway 99. A 37-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting at a local grocery store.

Fire Assist. 19700 block of Highway 99. Someone set two dumpsters on fire behind two businesses.

Aug. 22

Theft. 6900 block of 208th St. SW. A 71-year-old male reported his 1993 Chrysler Concorde stolen out of an underground secured garage.

Theft. 18000 block of 36th Ave. W. A 39-year-old female reported her 1990 Pontiac GrandAm stolen.

Accident. 3000 block of 184th St. SW. A driver was trying to park when he collided with another vehicle’s open door. The driver of the struck vehicle was loading his car and holding his infant son. The victim was upset and pushed and slapped the driver who struck his door, but that person did not wish to pursue charges.

Burglary. 16600 block of 48th Ave. W. A 42-year-old female reported an XBox video game system and video games stolen out of her apartment.

Domestic violence

According to the Mountlake Terrace Police Department, there were 12 domestic violence calls from Aug. 17 to Aug. 24.

According to the Lynnwood Police Department, there were 26 domestic violence calls from Aug. 17 to Aug. 24.
