The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports:

June 27

Theft. 100 block Main St. A 2000 Honda Accord was stolen from a restaurant parking lot. Total estimated loss: $14,695. No suspect information was available.

Theft. 21200 block Summit Ln. A 1993 Ford van was stolen from an apartment complex. Total estimated loss: $5,000. No suspect information was available.

June 26

Theft. 21900 block Highway 99. A 45-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting beer, razors and batteries from a grocery store.

Theft. 21900 block Highway 99. A 48-year-old man was arrested form shoplifting nine cans of beer from a grocery store.

Warrant. 8000 block 196th St. SW. An investigation of a disturbance resulted in the arrest of someone with an outstanding warrant.

June 25

Suspicious circumstances. 23900 block Highway 99. Police officials found a woman sleeping in a vehicle behind a local motel, and she would not wake up. Another woman who came to assist her was a missing person from Everett.

Failed Return. 22900 block Highway 99. A metal detector rented from a local rental shop was not returned by the date required on the contract.

Warrant. 23900 block Highway 99. Police responded to a disturbance complaint at a local motel. No disturbance was verified, but after checking two parties police discovered a warrant on one of them from Edmonds municipal court. The person was arrested and booked into the Lynnwood jail.

Theft. 9300 block 244th St. SW. A woman left her apartment by arrangement with apartment staff in custody of a repair person. The woman returned the next day to find the apartment unlocked, windows open and several items missing.

Found Property. 400 block Fifth Ave. S. A statue was located in front of a local business. The statue was placed into evidence.

Theft. 23000 block 100th Ave. W. A 13-year-old boy was caught shoplifting at a drug store.

Disturbance. 100 block of W. Dayton St. An ex-employee came to their former workplace and caused a disturbance.

Assault. 21200 block 80th Ave. W. Someone was in the middle of the roadway at 212th St. SW and 80th Ave. W. obstructing traffic and making verbal threats at passing vehicles. A man tried to talk the person into getting out of the roadway, after which the person threatened to kill the man, threw a rock at him and hit him in the leg.

June 24

Assault. 8400 block 224th St. SW. A verbal argument between two unrelated men led to a fight with one man striking the other with a metal baton.

Fraud. 20500 block 86th Pl. W. Someone’s credit card number was used for multiple purchases in numerous countries. No suspect information was available.

Arson. 23700 block 104th Ave. W. A classroom being used for storage was broken into and items were set on fire. A joint investigation with Edmonds fire officials will continue.

June 19

DUI. 7700 block 234th St. SW. Someone was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into Snohomish County jail.

Suspicious circumstances. 23000 block Highway 99. Police were dispatched to an audible alarm at a storage facility. Upon arrival, a facility check was completed and no forced entry was found.

Burglary. 600 block Edmonds Way. A mini mart was broken into and $3,669 worth of cigarettes were stolen.
