The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Dec. 24

Theft. 22600 block 63rd Pl. W. A man reported that his stereo and speakers were stolen from his car.

Burglary. 22000 block Cedar Way. Employees at a local business reported that a burglary occurred overnight. Suspects took $100 cash from a register.

Theft. 6500 block 225 Pl. W. A man reported a stereo, CDs and prescription medication stolen from his car.

Theft. 22000 block 63rd Pl. W. A woman reported that a stereo was stolen from her car.

Vehicle prowl. 22000 block 63rd Pl. W. A woman reported that her vehicle was entered. Nothing was taken, only “rummaged through.”

Theft. 23000 block 63rd Ave. W. A man reported that his truck had been entered. The ignition was broken, but nothing was taken. A crowbar was found in the vehicle, which likely belonged to the suspect.

Dec. 25

DUI. 220th block 56th Ave. A woman was arrested for DUI.

Dec. 26

Theft. 5400 block 212th St. SW. A woman reported that when she approached her car in the morning, there was an unknown male sitting in the back seat. He fled when he saw her and took several items, including a leather jacket, gloves, purse and blanket.

Theft. 5400 block 212th St. SW. A woman reported that someone pried off the right front door handle to her car to gain entry and stole a teddy bear, CDs and a CD player.

DUI. 7600 block 228th St. SW. A woman was arrested for DUI.

Dec. 27

Burglary. 22000 block 64th Ave. W. Two men reported four males entered their house and began punching and kicking them. When they left, they took a VCR, DVD player, sweatshirt and boots. The two men were able to identify the man responsible for the damage.

DUI. 21000 block 67th Ave. W. A man was arrested for DUI.

Vehicle prowl. 6500 block 225th Pl. A woman reported someone attempted to gain access into her car. She said a small panel on the hatchback appeared to be bent, although entry was not achieved. She requested a report be taken due to recent car prowls in the area.

Dec. 28

DUI. 5600 block 220th St. SW. A man was arrested for DUI.

Theft. 6500 block 218th St. SW. A man reported seeing a man near his boat in his driveway. The man reported several items were missing from his boat, including a flare gun, CD receiver, electrical panel and binoculars.

Burglary. 5700 block 239th Pl. SW. A woman reported her house was burglarized. The back bedroom window had been smashed and was likely the point of entrance. A CD player and DVDs were stolen.

EDMONDS

Dec. 27

Theft. 9300 block 244th Street SW. An unknown person damaged the ignition of a vehicle in attempting to steal it. About $5 in change was stolen.

Theft. 8300 block 244th Street SW. A white male and a black female ordered and consumed food and drinks totaling $31.39, put $12 on the table and left. A witness got their license plate number.

Dec. 26

Threats. 7800 block 218th Street SW. Three people displayed a gun while making threats to kill at about 11:30 p.m. All fled the scene in a burgundy vehicle.

Theft. 22300 block 98th Ave. W. Someone took mail from a resident’s mailbox, opened it and left it on the grounds of Westgate Elementary School. The mail was returned to its owner.

Theft. 21300 block Pioneer Way. A man reported theft of items from his vehicle after learning that his son had costly valuables taken.

Theft. 9100 block Sierra St. Someone stole a group of inflatable snowmen from someone’s front yard. No suspects were reported.
