The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

Feb. 8

Narcotics. 22000 block Highway 99. A call about a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of someone for possession of drugs and stolen property.

Feb. 7

220 block Second Ave. S. A vehicle was stolen from a secured garage.

Feb. 6

Assist other agency. A firearm reported stolen in unincorporated Snohomish County was purchased and reported by a gun shop.

Burglary. 1300 block Olympic View Drive. The front door lock at a business was twisted off and the business was burglarized.

Feb. 5

Warrant service. 7600 block Lake Ballinger Way. A 44-year-old man was contacted by police after creating a disturbance at a gas station. He was arrested and booked on an outstanding warrant.

Theft. 22800 block 100th Ave. W. Someone took two video games from a video store without paying.

Theft. 7300 block 212th Street SW. Two or more suspects broke into a vehicle by forcing the driver’s side lock, resulting in the lock not working. The dash panel by the steering column had been broken away and ignition wiring pulled loose.

Animal. 19000 block 80th Ave. W. A dog owner was issued citations for two first offense violations for failing to obtain dog licenses.

Burglary. 8500 block Bowdoin Way. A woman went for a walk and returned home to discover her purse had been stolen.

Feb. 4

Burglary. 23500 block 84th Ave. W. Someone broke into a church, causing considerable damage and taking little of value.

Theft. 9400 block 244th Street SW. Someone entered an unlocked car and took a can of pepper spray.

Feb. 3

Theft. 22000 block Highway 99. Gas was stolen. The suspect was not identified.
