The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

April 5

Malicious mischief. 22500 block of 66th Ave. W. A woman reported unknown persons broke part of the rear window of her truck cab. Nothing was taken from the cab.

Theft. 21500 block of 48th Ave. W. A man reported unknown persons stole his paycheck from his mail box.

April 3

Burglary. 21800 block of 44th Ave. W. Unknown persons broke into Mountlake Terrace High School and stole some money from a locked school office. The thieves broke into the office by smashing in a glass door.

Malicious mischief. 6000 block of 237th St. SW. An Edmonds School District employee reported someone had broke into the janitors area. Someone saw some teen boys cut through a fence, but the boys have not yet been located. Police are still investigating

April 2

Car prowl. 4000 block of 225th St. SW. A man reported unknown persons broke into his vehicle and stole some stereo equipment and compact discs.

April 1

16500 block of 218th St. SW. A man reported someone used checks with his name on them and he hadn’t even picked up the checks from the bank yet.

Domestic violence

According to the Lynnwood Police Department, there were 14 domestic violence calls from March 30 to April 5.
