The following are selected reports from Mill Creek police.
March 30
Vandalism. 2500 block of 140th Pl., 8 a.m. Someone loosened the lug nuts on the wheels of a Mill Creek man’s vehicle, causing one of the wheels to fall off while he was driving to work.
Accident. 16300 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 11:11 p.m. A Mill Creek resident was cited after ignoring a traffic control device and driving into a ditch. The car was removed by a tow truck.
March 31
Vehicle theft. 14500 block of North Creek Dr., 9:15 a.m. A woman’s vehicle was stolen sometime overnight.
Recovered stolen vehicle. 14500 block of North Creek Dr., 11:30 a.m. An apartment complex employee reported a suspicious vehicle parked in their lot. It was stolen out of Everett, and the owner was notified and picked it up.
Identity theft. 900 block of 164th St. SE, 5:22 p.m. A person passed a fraudulent check at a store.
April 1
Weapons offense. 15300 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 1:38 a.m. A Lynnwood woman was stopped for a traffic violation and during the stop, an officer found a stolen firearm. She was arrested.
Burglary. 400 block of 142nd Pl., 4:30 p.m. Contractors working at a new house under construction discovered that sometime overnight someone entered the house and stole many tools.
April 2
Counterfeiting. 16200 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 5 p.m. A business reported that someone passed a counterfeit check last month.
April 3
Vehicle thefts. 14300 block of North Creek Dr., 11:58 a.m., and 1200 block of 164th St. SE, 7 p.m. Two vehicles, a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and a 1986 Honda Civic were stolen from two different apartment complexes. An unsuccessful theft attempt was reported in the 1200 block of 164th St. SE at 8:38 a.m.
Vandalism. 15700 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 12:44 p.m. A motorist reported that her 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe was damaged by a large rock thrown from the side of the road.
Theft from auto. 1100 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 5 p.m. Someone stole a car stereo and change from a vehicle.
Vandalism. 900 block of 164th St. SE, 5:38 p.m. While waiting for a traffic light to change at an intersection, a woman got out of a car, crushed a soda can, and used it to scratch the paint of another woman’s vehicle.
April 4
DUI. 15300 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 1:49 a.m. A man was stopped for speeding and arrested for DUI.
Burglary. 14600 block of 32nd Ave. SE, 8 a.m. Someone entered a home’s garage and stole a black sports bag and a briefcase.
Thefts from vehicles. 14200 block of 15th Dr., and 14300 block of 15th Dr., 8:51 a.m. Two residents reported break-ins to their vehicles. In one case, car keys were stolen, and in the other case, stereo equipment was taken.
Vehicle theft. 3200 block of 151st. St. SE, 9 a.m. A resident’s car was stolen.
Vandalism. 14700 block of 24th Ave., 10:02 a.m. A pickup truck was damaged when someone tried removing its wheels.
Recovered stolen vehicle. 1200 block of 164th St. SE, 5:45 p.m. A vehicle reported stolen by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office in March was found parked at an apartment complex.
April 5
Eluding an officer. 147th Pl. SE and 32nd Dr. SE, 4:35 a.m. An officer saw a speeding vehicle, and when the officer tried to pull the vehicle over the driver tried to elude the officer. The vehicle was stopped after what police called a short pursuit.
