Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

April 8

17800 block Ashworth Ave. Suspicious circumstances. A man reportedly knocked on someone’s front door asking for gas money to visit his sick father.

Drugs. 17000 block 12th Pl. NE. A suspect involved in an automobile collision was found with marijuana in his pocket.

Auto theft. 800 block NE. 201st St. A woman reported her vehicle was stolen after suspects knocked on her front door.

April 9

Trespass warning. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A man reportedly followed customers to cars asking for money. He was issued a trespass notice.

Auto theft. 19100 block Ballinger Way NE. A car was reportedly stolen.

Suspicious circumstances. 20000 block Ballinger Way. A couple entered a grocery store and inquired about the validity of a forged gift certificate.

Assault. 18200 block Aurora Ave. N. A fight was reported in the parking lot of a video store.

Confiscated property. 600 block N. 182nd St. Officers crashed a juvenile party involving alcohol. The kegs and taps were confiscated.

April 10

DUI. 14700 block Bothell Way NE. While monitoring traffic, officers observed a vehicle drive onto a raised concrete divider and drift across lanes.

Accident. 18700 block Ballinger Way NE. Officers responded to a two-car injury. A car was turning into a driveway when it was struck by another vehicle.

Theft. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A subject took electronic items from a drug store and ran out without paying.

Vandalism. 17200 block 15th Ave. NE. Unknown suspects threw eggs at a vehicle, hitting the hood.

April 11

Assault. 900 block N. 198th St. A man reported seeing a male beating a female in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

April 12

Trespassing. 17300 block Beach Dr. NE. People were found camping in the park during an after hours check.

Runaway. 19200 block 15th Ave. NE. A mother reported her 14-year-old daughter ran away from home.

Commercial burglary. 15000 block Aurora Ave. N. A suspect entered a business through the drive-through window and attempted to pry open the registers.

Vandalism. 19500 block 12th Ave. NW. Someone spray painted the walls outside an elementary school.

Assault. 16000 block Aurora Ave. Someone punched a victim in the nose while riding a Metro bus.

Residential burglary. 1400 block NE. 158th St. A man entered a house by unknown means and left with a power saw.

April 13

Suspicious circumstances. 15500 block Ashworth Ave. A man reportedly knocked on someone’s door asking for gas money to see his sick father.

Disturbance. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. A fight between two friends resulted in one being sent to the hospital.

April 14

Found property. 18500 block 28th Ave. NE. Someone found a bike in a ditch under brush.

Vandalism. 16200 block Aurora Ave. N. A suspect keyed 14 cars on an open unsecured car lot.

Residential burglary. 20400 block 25th Ave. NW. A woman reported someone gained entry into her home through an open window.

April 15

Residential alarm. 5000 block 197th St. Officers responded to an alarm and found the house secure.

Vandalism. 15800 block 12th Ave. NE. A paintball was shot at a living room window. There was no damage, only paint.
