The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

April 24

Reckless endangerment. 23200 block 82nd Place W. Sounds of shots were heard in the area of the 23400 block of 84th Avenue W. Thirty .223 caliber casings were located in front of a residence. Police responding to a fight at a party nearby found the same number of casings of the same caliber, made by the same manufacturer.

Animal. 600 block Main Street. A citation was issued for a golden retriever dog running at large, again.

April 23

Fraud. 23500 block Edmonds Way. Internet fraud was discovered in the attempted purchase of a motorcycle.

Malicious mischief. 8200 block Lake Ballinger Way. Six tires on two parked vehicles were slashed by unknown persons.

Theft. 21900 block Highway 99. A 15-year-old boy was caught after shoplifting two bottles of an alcoholic beverage and trying to run away from store security. He was booked at the Denney Youth Center for theft and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

April 19

Burglary. 22500 block 76th Ave. W. Someone entered a storage facility lot without authorization, broke into a locker and damaged property upon exiting.

April 18

Animal. 1400 block Eighth Ave. N. A black-and-tan coonhound mix dog aggressively approached a man walking on the street. The dog was declared potentially dangerous and paperwork was prepared and mailed to the dog owner.
